  • When is the Beyond 42.195 Run?
    The 2024 edition of the Beyond 42.195 run is scheduled for the 27th of October, 2024. This is a Sunday.
  • How do I register?
    You can register for the run via the link on the home page. We urge you to read these FAQs and then head to register via this link.
  • Can I cancel my registration & or transfer it?
    Yes! Please do keep the following in consideration. Last Date for Transfers or Cancellation: 30-Sep Transfers: No additional charge for Transfer/Change in Relay Partner. Drop a mail to info@blrsports.org along with all details of the transferee. No changes allowed in order of Lead vs Second Relay Partner Cancellation: 70% refund in case of cancellation
  • Where is the start point of the Beyond 42.195 - 50 KM run?
    The start location for Beyond42.195 5th Edition 50K runners is Disha Pursuits of Elements: https://maps.app.goo.gl/GtRAGmbn8TGSeH4H8
  • What are the start points of the Beyond 42.195 relay-run?
    The start point of the first relay runner is Disha Pursuit of Elements. They are required to check-in to the start point at 3:30 AM. Following this check-in: The first relay runner will begin from this same location. The second relay runner will need to head to race mid-point/relay-change over location - which will be announced shortly. Transportation will be arranged to ferry the second runner to the mid-point/change-over point. This bus will leave the relay start/finish point at 5:30 AM. The second relay runner, if they are choosing their own mode of transportation to reach their start point (mid-point/change-over point), should reach the location (will be announced shortly) by 6:00 AM.
  • What is the finish point of the Beyond 42.195 - 50KM run?
    The finish point of the Beyond 42.195 - Solo 50KM run is the same as the start point: Disha Pursuit of Elements
  • What are the finish points of the Beyond 42.195 relay-run?
    For the first runner, the finish point will be ____ ( the starting point for the second runner) For the second runner, the finish point will be Disha Pursuit of Elements.
  • What is the check-in routine on the race-day?
    All 50KM runners and the first runner of the relay run are required to check-in at the race start/end point at 3:30 AM. The second relay runner should check-in at the race mid-point/relay change-over point by 6:00 AM. This location will be announced shortly. Transportation will be arranged to ferry the second relay runner to their start point from the race start/end point at 5:30 AM.
  • Cut Offs
    The race will have a mid-point cut off. <to be announced> Runners not reaching the cut-off will have to withdraw from the race and shall be dropped back to start point.
  • Is this Road Run or Trail Run?
    The terrain is Tarred Roads (80%) and Trails (20%). 80% of the roads are....you know! If it rains, expect the roads and trails to be slushy. Be careful while running through these patches.
  • What is the elevation profile of the route?
    Approx 260M of Gross Elevation. That's called flat route!
  • Is there a route-map?
    We will publish the route map and the GPX file closer to the event week. Please note that route is non-repeat loop of 50 KM. We will have route directions at key points and responsibility is on the runner to self-navigate using route map.
  • Will the route be marked?
    Yes! PRIMARY MARKING: Satin ribbons tied on poles & trees Route GPX: This will be shared with runners on the run week Other markings: Sigh boards with RIGHT, LEFT STRAIGHT signs
  • Can you give me a detailed course profile?
    Yes, this will be shared with you during the run week. This will be similar to last year's route profile. Last year's profile - for reference only. First 25 Kms: 3Km - 4Km trail 11Km - 13Km pebbles 17Km - 18Km trail 19th Km if it rains, it gets slushy Second 25Kms: 29Km - 30Km pebbles 31Km - 32Km Trail 34Km - 35Km Trail
  • What is the route support like?
    We will provide a detailed outlay of the route support. You can expect it to be along the lines of last year's. Last year's support plan - for reference only. 8 Major Aid Stations: At 6Km, 13Km, 22Km, 25Km, 29Km, 36Km (cut off), 43Km, 48Km Major Aid Stations will have Fruits - Bananas, Oranges, Watermelon, FnU Gels, Parle-G, Chikki, Jaggery, Bread and Jam, Water, FnU, Electrolytes, Salt, Limca/Fanta 7 Mini Aid Stations: At 3Km, 9Km, 17Km, 20Km, 32Km, 39Km, 46Km Mini Aid stations will have water, electrolytes, first aid, and volini
  • When and where can I collect the bibs?

  • Can someone collect my bib?
    Yes, on the bib collection day, the designated person must present the forwarded copy of your registration email. They should also show both your and their Government-issued photo IDs, either digital or physical.
  • Can I use courier services like Dunzo, Uber, Porter etc. to collect my bib?
    Yes for Beyond42.195 If you are employing these vendors, you may choose to do so at your own expense and risk. The Foundation will not be held responsible for any loss or misuse arising from this.
  • Can I change the size of my T-Shirt during the bib collection?
    No. Any change will only be permitted during the transfer window. We will not entertain any requests for T-shirt size change during the expo.
  • Can I change my category from solo to relay, or vice-versa when I am collecting my bib?
    No. Any change will only be permitted during the transfer window. We will not entertain any requests for category change during the expo.
  • Is there a provision for bib and goodie-bag collection on the event day or post-event?
    No. Under no circumstance will the bibs will be issued outside the expo-days (25th & 26th, October, 2024)
  • Terms & Conditions
    At all times, participants will observe all local rules and regulations, and will not flout any laws pertaining to wearing of masks, maintaining social distances, non-contact and other such measures that may be put in place.
  • Other Terms & Conditions
    The event is a semi-supported activity and is meant to be an activity at the risk of the participants on their own resources. Come fully prepared. The organisers are not in any way liable for medical or any other eventualities that may arise during the course of participation in this event. Please choose the event category carefully, confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified. Provide us with a secure email ID/mobile no. that you can access regularly since this will be our primary means of communication during the run-up to the event. Users of email services that offer filtering/blocking of messages from unknown email addresses should add this email ID info@blrsports.org to their address list. The event is not organized in a traffic-cordoned-off area. While running by the road, please take precautions and be aware of your surroundings. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed received. You are aware that long-distance running is an extreme sport and can be injurious to the body and health. You take full responsibility for participating in the event and do not hold the organizing committee or any of its members or entities responsible for any injury or accident. You shall consult your physician and undergo a complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event. You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event. You agree that the organizers of the event and Bengaluru Sports Foundation or its partners shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness, or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event. You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety. You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicise the event. You may acknowledge and agree that your personal information can be stored and used by Bengaluru Sports Foundation or any other company in connection with the organization, promotion and administration of the event and for the compilation of statistical information. You also understand and agree that you may be contacted by the Sponsors and Promoters of the event for marketing and promotion of offers and grant explicit permission to send communications on my mobile number and email address provided by you. You are 18 years or older as of the date of the event. For participants less than 18 years of age, parents-guardians are registering and signing up for the terms and conditions.
  • Safety Protocols
    Concentrate and be alert. Do not talk on the phone and listen to music. Keep all your concentration on the road/path and be situationally aware Wear reflective material for early morning runs Watch out for any kind of road hazards. From potholes, uneven roads, broken glass, gravel, puddles, leaves, and dogs. All of these can be hazardous and can cause accidents Obey all the traffic rules. Look on both sides before taking a turn. When turning left or right, always look behind you for a break in traffic, then signal before making the turn. Watch for left- or right-turning traffic
  • Environment
    We take additional effort to keep the event as environment friendly as possible. Most of the aid stations will have reusable plates & glasses. Take care not to spoil them DO NOT LITTER along the route. If found, we reserve the right to disqualify you/withdraw your results. Car Pool
